What are The Physical Requirements for Skydiving?
Skydiving is not very physically demanding at all. It does however require you be in good physical and mental health. If you have any serious medical conditions, such as epilepsy, obesity, heart problems and others conditions that you think might interfere with skydiving, you should consult a physician before skydiving.. What are The Age Limits for Skydiving?
In order to skydive, you must be old enough to sign a legal document, which is 18 years old in the state of Texas. Parental consent forms are not acceptable for minors as this will still not satisfy the parachute manufacture specifications. Furthermore, many enthusiast over the age of 70 jump with no problems. What is The Weight Limit to Skydive?
For safety reasons, and to meet manufacture specifications, we can only jump individuals up to 235lbs. [back to top]
How Soft is The Landing?
Most of the time, after free falling from the sky at 120mph, you will come down to a landing no harder than jumping off a table top. Skydiving has come a long way, and our jump masters will land you, 20 feet from the building, in the same spot, almost every time. [back to top]
What if The Parachute Fails to Open?
The parachute will not fail to open, parachutes are deigned to open every time. There is a specially packed, spring loaded, reserve parachute, guaranteed to deploy if ever needed. [back to top]
Will My Stomach Get Upset?
While completely weightless? It is most unlikely. Skydiving is nothing like a roller coaster, there are no g-forces exerted; you are completely weightless. [back to top]
Should I Eat Before Skydiving?
If you do not plan on bringing a lunch, or BBQ for the grill, then we think it is a good idea to eat a light meal before heading out to the drop zone. We sell drinks and snacks, but do not have a kitchen to serve food. [back to top]
What Should I Wear to Skydive In?
Wear comfortable clothing suitable the weather, and remember that the jumpsuit will fit over your clothes. Here is what we recommend you wear; jeans, sweats or shorts, t-shirt and tennis shoes or other athletic footwear. [back to top]
Can My Friends Come Watch?
All your friends and family are welcome to come and watch. We have an oversized covered patio and pick nick tables for them to hang out and watch you as you enjoy your skydive experience. [back to top]
How Long Is Tandem Training?
The training session for your tandem skydive is about 10 to 15 minutes. The jump master will explain what to do with your hands and feet, and go over the process so you know what is going on and what to expect of your skydive. [back to top]
How Long Does It Take to Skydive?
The entire skydive process, from start to finish for a party of two skydivers, usually takes about an hour and a half. Keep in mind, weather can, and will cause delays, and safety is our number one priority; therefore, we will not jump unless all conditions are are safe. [back to top]
Do I Need A Reservation?
While not required, a reservation will guarantee you a spot to jump at the time you arrive. If you are coming out for a tandem, or AFF jump, we recommend you make a reservation.[back to top]
How Much Does It Cost?
Compared to other extreme sports, skydiving is relatively inexpensive. You can get your first skydive for well under 200 dollars, but for not much more, you can capture the entire thing on video. Please see our skydiving prices page for a complete price list. [back to top]
Can I Take My First Skydive Solo?
Although some people insist on taking their first skydive in the Accelerated Free Fall Program (AFF), it is strongly recommended that you consider a tandem skydive before beginning the AFF course. [back to top]
Is it OK to Have a Beer Before Skydiving?
Not At All! If we believe you have had anything to drink, or under the influence or any drugs, we will not let you skydive. Safety is first to our jump masters, and they are not going to put you, or themselves in danger because. [back to top]
What Forms of Payment do You Take?
We accept cash and most major credit and check cards including Visa and MasterCard. We require a credit card to hold your reservation, only one per group, and then you can pay with cash when you arrive. [back to top]
What are Your Hours of Operation?
We are open to skydivers seven days a week, from 9am to sunset, weather permitting. Unfortunately, skydiving depends on the weather conditions, and while we try to schedule around the weather as best we can, most of the time it is very unpredictable. [back to top]
Can I Bring My Pet?
Yes, please bring your pet to be part of the fun, but they must remain on a leash and you must pick up after them, thank you. [back to top]
